The Daily Racing Blog frequently posts about multi-race wagers and the intrinsic Value they offer. And while we often recommend how to play such wagers we don’t often delve into which horses to play.

We’re going to change that up a bit here today and offer you our choices for the Late Pick 4 at Tampa Bay Downs Saturday afternoon, beginning in the 7th race.

DRB proffers our top four choices (in order of preference) in each of the four races.

We list our top four picks in case of scratches, but you may use as many as you choose, or that your bank will allow.

RACE 7 $16,000 Claiming Race. Mile & 8th. Fillies and Mares, 3-year-olds and up.

#2 PUGILIST ML 7-2. #3 HOITY TOITY ML 4-1. #1 POSTINO‘S IDOL ML 4-1. #4 STORMY D ML 8-1.

RACE 8 $10,000 Claiming Race. 6 Furlongs. 3-year-olds and up.

#4 LOUD N PROUD ML 5-1. #6 CREEKMORE ML 5-2. #5 DOODLE HOPPER ML 9-2. #3 ACE DESTROYER ML 3-1.

RACE 9 Maiden Special Weight. 1 Mile. 2-year-old Fillies.

#5 COFFEE BEAN ML 3-1. #4 DANCING SOPHIA ML 6-1. #8 LING LING ML 5-1. #3 GEM MINE ML 7-2.

RACE 10 Maiden Special Weight. 5 Furlongs. 3-year-olds and up.

#6 JURA ML 5-2. #7 CATCH ON EMOTIONAL ML 3-1. #5 NINTH OF APRIL ML 8-1. #4 PHAROAH CAT ML 9-2.

The minimum cost of this Pick 4 is .50 cents. So if you were to use our top three choices in each of the 4 legs of the wager, it would be; 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 divided in half equaling $40.50.

You can add or delete horses in any of the four races, which would either increase or decrease the cost of the wager.
