A Jim Dandy Cup Of Coffee

The $500,000, Jim Dandy Stakes at Saratoga Race Course on Saturday is a Grade 2.

Jim Dandy coffee from Saratoga Cool Beans rates a G1 status.

Saratoga Cool Beans is a neat little website that has a Saratoga, Thoroughbred theme to it and offers some damn fine coffees.

The Daily Racing Blog staff has tried several of their coffees and found each one to be outstanding!

They ship anywhere in the continental United States and the order usually arrive in two business days.

The website is a lot of fun- for example its description of their Jim Dandy roast: “No 100-1 upset here.  This will become one of your favorites. Jamaican inspired, this is an island blend of caramel, vanilla, and a twist of the tropics.  It has an intoxicating aroma and a pleasurable taste.  It’s no longshot- you’ll find yourself in java paradise with this one”.

Another cool thing about the company is that it donates a portion of all their sales to the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.

To wit: “At Saratoga Cool Beans, our mission is to provide our customers with the finest artisanal coffee blends, while also making a difference in the world. We believe in supporting our community, which is why we donate 10% of all sales to the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund, a cause close to our hearts. Help us in supporting jockeys in need – one bag at a time!”

PDJF Day across America is this Saturday, July 26th, so go ahead and order some great coffee and contribute to a worthy cause.
