Who Wins The Pegasus?

On Saturday Gulfstream Park will host the $3 million dollar Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes.

The 1 1/8-mile dirt race has been a centerpiece of the winter season since it was rebranded in 2017.

The contest annually brings together some of the best older dirt horses in training to compete.

Here is a brief look at this year’s field:

4. WHITE ABARRIO [ML 3-1] Jockey: Irad Ortiz Jr. Trainer: Saffie Joseph Jr.

5. CRUPI [ML 15-1] Jockey: Luis Saez. Trainer: Todd Pletcher.

6. STRONGHOLD [ML 10-1] Jockey: Antonio Fresu. Trainer: Phil D’Amato.

7. STEAL SUNSHINE [ML 30-1] Jockey: Dylan Davis. Trainer: Bobby Dibona.

8. VITALITY [ML 50-1] Jockey: Rajiv Maragh. Trainer: Harold Ladouceur.

9. MYSTIK DAN [ML 8-1] Jockey: Brian Hernandez Jr. Trainer: Ken McPeek.

The Pegasus Stakes is the final race on a card of thirteen with a scheduled post Time of 5:40.

It will air on NBC as well as FanDuel TV.
