The $500,000, Grade 2 Jim Dandy Stakes at Saratoga Race Course on Saturday isn’t a Grade 1 but it’s coffee namesake is worthy of a G1 rating.
Saratoga Cool Beans Coffee is a neat little website that has a Saratoga, Thoroughbred theme to it and offers some damn fine coffees.
They ship anywhere in the continental United States and the order usually arrive in two business days.
The website is a lot of fun. For instance, take its description of their Jim Dandy roast: No 100-1 upset here. This will become one of your favorites. Jamaican inspired, this is an island blend of caramel, vanilla, and a twist of the tropics. It has an intoxicating aroma and a pleasurable taste. It’s no longshot- you’ll find yourself in java paradise with this one.
The Daily Racing Blog has tried several of their coffees and found each one to be outstanding!
Another cool thing about the company is that it donates a portion of their proceeds to the PDJF.
To wit: At Saratoga Cool Beans, our mission is to provide our customers with the finest artisanal coffee blends, while also making a difference in the world. We believe in supporting our community, which is why we donate 10% of all sales to the Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund, a cause close to our hearts. Help us in supporting jockeys in need – one bag at a time!
PDJF Day across America is this Saturday, July 27th.
