Lucky 13 For Chad Brown ?

Trainer Chad Brown is preparing 13 probable starters for the Breeders’ Cup World Championships.

Brown has Won four consecutive Eclipse Awards as North America’s leading trainer.

He had three Breeders’ Cup Wins last year (raising his total to 15), culminated by the impressive Victory in The Turf by BRICKS AND MORTAR.

The nations pre-eminent trainer on grass- Brown will not have an entrant in the $4 Million Dollar, 1.5 Mile Turf. “We don’t have a horse in that, which is disappointing,” said Brown.

By contrast, he will be well represented in the $2 Million Dollar Filly & Mare Turf, where RUSHING FALL and SISTERCHARLIE are joined by MY SISTER NAT.

Another race with multiple Brown entries is the $2 Million Dollar Mile. UNI looks to be formidable when she defends her title after defeating males in this event last year. She will be joined by RAGING BULL, WITHOUT PAROLE, and DIGITAL AGE.

Brown seems to have a prime contender in the $1 Million Dirt Mile in COMPLEXITY. He comes off a decisive Victory against CODE OF HONOR in the Kelso Handicap (G2) on October 3rd at Belmont Park in only his third start this year.

REINVESTMENT RISK will be up against undefeated JACKIES’S WARRIOR in the $2 Million Dollar Juvenile.

The rest of Brown’s BC lineup is composed of FLUFFY SOCKS in the $1 Million Juvenile Fillies Turf; PUBLIC SECTOR, $1 Million Juvenile Turf; FRONT RUN THE FED, $1 Million Turf Sprint; and DUNBAR ROAD entered in the $2 Million Distaff.

“It’s been a hell of a run and, hopefully, we can continue it,” Brown said. “When you get used to Winning these races on an annual basis, anything less than Winning on Breeders’ Cup weekend is a disappointment.”

The Breeders’ Cup is November 6th and 7th at Keeneland Race Course.
