Big Day At Tampa Bay !

The Daily Racing Blog has written about multiple race wagers in the past- how to structure them, how much to wager etc…

That said, rarely, if ever, does DRB take to tooting it’s own horn, but today was a day that needs to be shared.

DRB likes playing Tampa Bay Downs on Wednesdays, as it’s a good way to, hopefully, start a bankroll for the weekend.

Well, let’s just say we’re more than ready for Derby weekend.

We begin with the early Pick 5 & 4. Nothing major but a pretty Good R.O.I.

Next up was a Pick 3 beginning with race 6:

Really good R.O.I. with that one. But wait there’s more…

A real nice Pick 4, but why not do the Pick 5 you say? Why not indeed.

The only reason these last tickets offered so much Value was that in the 3rd leg of the sequence (race 7) the #3 was the dead-nuts favorite, and while DRB thought of using the #3 as a single we decided to add the #1 to the ticket.

The #1- WORA was ML 6-1 but with most of the money going to the #3, WORA went off at 12-1.

In the 5 furlong turf sprint WORA got up at the last jump and split the #2 and 3 to Win by a neck.

The other horses in the late Pick 4 & 5 sequence’ were $6.00 dollar Winners while WORA paid $27 to for a $2 wager

Here’s hoping our good fortune as well as yours continues through Derby weekend.
